The Hospice of North Central Oklahoma is a community-owned organization, meaning the donors and volunteers of north central Oklahoma own the organization.  They are governed by 14 volunteer board members from north central Oklahoma - one of those being Tonkawa's Vernon Young.  Since 1982, they have provided quality end-of-life care at no expense to the patient, while supporting their family and others in the community who are experiencing grief.  Their medical equipment is available to loan out to the community at no expense.  They also provide the community grief and loss support to anyone who has experienced a death in their circle, this includes sudden tragedy, suicide, or any event.  You do not have to be a Hospice patient to receive bereavement support at no expense.
