Founded in 1971 as the Lighthouse, the original purpose of the non-profit organization was to provide treatment to alcoholics. In 1978, the organization changed it's name to Alpha II. Today the facility provides addiction treatment to over 175 men a year. Recent improvements to program formats have allowed bed space for 50 men at one time. Alpha II is proud to be accredited through CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
